FAIRY TALES, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND PANTOMIMES

Hallo ESOL learners!

I hope that you are well today and looking forward to refining your English skills.

Today, we have a variety of topics:

  • Fairy tales
  • Anti-social behaviour and ASBOs
  • Pantomimes

Your project for today is to do some research about one of these topics and writing something:

  1. You could write your own fairy tale or translate a fairy tale from your country.
  2. You could do research on anti-social behaviour in Britain and ASBOs and write a letter to your friend explaining what anti-social behaviour is, how Britain uses ASBOs and what your opinion is about it.
  3. You could research pantomimes and write a short report about the history of pantomimes in Britain.

Here are some useful links:

This link will take you to various articles about anti-social behaviour.

These links will tell you more about pantomimes.

The links on this page will take you to various countries' fairy tales.

Type or write about your chosen topic and hand it in to your teacher by the end of the session.

Until next time, have fun learning English!
